"“A must if you visit St Simons!!” - An absolutely wonderful tour that is worth every penny that you will pay for it. "Captain Rod" will keep you mesmerized with his rich knowledge of the history of the island and his fascinating story-telling skills. So much American history interwoven with personal, heart-warming stories of the people who made history here. I wish I had done it early in my stay here, instead of toward the end of our visit. It made me want to come back and explore more about this beautiful island. The comfortable, air-conditioned trolley ride is a nice break from walking in the weather also! Definitely two thumbs up!!"
"“The best and most informative tour ever taken.”
Capt. Rod was very entertaining and informative. I don't think there was anything about the history of the island he didn't know. The tour was one of the most enjoyable we have ever taken. Thanks Captain Rod."
"“Fascinating historical tour of the island” - Captain Rod did an amazing job of relaying the historical highlights of St. Simons Island. The more than 90 minutes he spent in endless factual information transfer kept everyone captivated while he transported us back in time. I highly recommend this tour of the island if you want to learn as much as possible in a short period of time."
"“A fun experience for us all” - We recently took this sightseeing tour of a beautiful place. Our guide was knowledgeable of the history of the island and combined that with a great sense of humor and intensity for his work. The tour served as an orientation to this beautiful place and we spent the next days going back to the places touched on during the tour. We highly recommend this when visiting St. Simon's Island."
"“Rod is Good!” - He's an excellent tour guide, and he shows you everything worth seeing and will want to go back and visit in more depth, at a reasonable price."
"“Fantastic Tour with cold AC”
Our tour guide Rod was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We have been on several trolley tours and he rates as one of the best. The amount of knowledge he imparts is amazing. This trolley is the only one with AC and it was nice because it was hot and humid with intermittent rain showers."
"“Capt. Rod's Trolley Tour of St. Simons Island!” - Capt. Rod is very knowledgeable and knows how to tell a story very well. We learned about the history of St. Simons, and about the interesting people that have lived there. We were well entertained and saw the points of interest we had read about plus information that is not in the normal literature. We highly recommend this tour, a well spent 90 (plus, thank you Capt. Rod) minutes!"
