"“Capt. Rod's Trolley Tour of St. Simons Island!” - Capt. Rod is very knowledgeable and knows how to tell a story very well. We learned about the history of St. Simons, and about the interesting people that have lived there. We were well entertained and saw the points of interest we had read about plus information that is not in the normal literature. We highly recommend this tour, a well spent 90 (plus, thank you Capt. Rod) minutes!"

"“Hear the true story of Neptune.” A must do tour of St. Simons Island and the history of the area that goes back 500 years. Captain Rod certainly makes the area and history come alive and his in depth account of the slave Neptune is not only amazing but inspiring. Don't miss this excellent experience."

"“Worth giving up a beach day!” - My husband and I took the Orange trolley tour on recommendation of the resort we stayed. On a Sunday, there isn't much else open other than the beautiful beach so we gave it a go. It was fabulous!!!! Captain Rod was very entertaining and knowledgeable about the historical and current community. He is a real asset to St.Simons and it's visitors. DO NOT MISS this tour!!!! Best to take at the beginning of your trip as he gives some great suggestions on other things to do while your here. Thanks again Captain Rod:)"

"“A fantastic tour of the island!” - Rod is an amazing, interesting historian. Through his well narrated stories, the island's history comes alive. The trolley tour transports one through the island's roads where he describes the sights in detail. The 90 minutes of the tour pass quickly because he holds the attention of all aboard. Truly his investment in drawing visitors into the magic of St Simon's Island could not be more apparent. This tour is well worth the $20 cost for adults. Having been on many such tours in many cities over the years, this tour offered the most in terms of the varied sights but also, as importantly, the depth of knowledge and story-telling competence of the narrator. We enjoyed every minute."

"“Very Enjoyable Trolley Ride!”- Capt. Rod is a wonderful driver/guide. He makes sure the attractive trolley is meticulously cleaned before anyone boards, warmly welcomes his riders, and enthusiastically gives them a tour of the sights and history of St Simon's Island. His history and story-telling keep your interest throughout the 90 minute ride. He also recommends several excellent restaurants in the area to try. (We went to Southern Soul and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere)."

"“What a great time!!” - Capt. Rod treated us to at least 90 minutes of history, great scenery, fun anecdotes and just a really welcoming tour of St Simon's Island. He truly loves the island and its history. He also must truly love his clients and the people who live on the island because we felt like we had a friend when we finished our tour. He is full of amazing facts and tells the story of the island and its people with a fun and also fascinating story. He doesn't just relay a rote story....he stops, turns around and makes you feel as though he is talking to you as a friend. We have done many wonderful tours in many cities as that helps us feel at home in a new place, but this tour is probably about the best we have done and more than worth the ticket price. Will repeat if when we go again just for the fun. Highly recommended ,,, tell Capt. Rod his Norman OKlahoma friends say hi!"
